I let someone borrow my Acer and they Compressed my files. Now when I turn it on it says Hardware security primary master Hitachi HTS543216L9LOCK compressed. How do I factory reset when I can't get in to reboot please help

Do you have Windows XP or Windows 7?
Do you have access to a CD or DVD drive?

Booting from the install disk gives you an option to decompress the hard disk. I don't think the Aspire ZG5 comes with an optical disk drive.
It might be possible to transfer the requires files from the install disk to a USB flash drive. But, the Aspire will need have the option to boot from the USB drive.

Tell your EX-friend he never get's access to your computer again.
