Hello,
I have a Toshiba Satellite and it won't turn on. I have ruled out the blackout screen where you pull the battery and the plug it in and turn it on but it's not that. I have also ruled out hdd failure.
So what happens when i it boot up.... I push the power button the fans turn on and then I hear a noise, kinda high pitch. And then nothing, black screen no boot up. It sounds like an electric failure. The Sound comes from above where the hdd drive is installed. I have taken the hdd out and the sound is still there. Any ideas what it might be. I was using the comp one sec and the next it was doing this.
Thanks guys

Check and make sure that the RAM is properly installed and working fine. Start laptop using only one RAM and and do the same with other to see if either works.

If that didn't help, try to remove the battery and then AC adapter. Now press and hold the power button for 30 seconds and then plug the AC Adapter back again. If that didn't help, start again your system by pressing the power button for 30 seconds, but this plug your AC adapter instead of battery.

If none of the above helps, you'll probably need to take your laptop to the nearest Toshiba repairing center.
