My windows vista XP have a black screen wend I turn it on. No mouse pointer I can't click any buttons, and my caplock and num lock lights blink. none of the tricks people say to do don't work and I turn it off 5 times! Can you please tell me why is it my laptop to over re-act like this?

It works like this because it's broken. It might be a simple fix. But, you will never know unless you take it to a repair shop for a diagnosis.
