I have a Pavilion DV6 and I am looking for a recovery disk. It was given to me but I have a Blue screen on it with a large curser and it will not allow me to get the the recover manager and even the desk top.

What about if you try to boot in safe mode ?

it will not let me get in safe mode, when i do try it only give try and repair (recommended option) or start in regular mode.
