Hello,
I have an HP Pavillion dv9000 Lap top running Vista Home Premium 32 bits SP1, with an AMD Turion 64 X 2 1.80 GHz I just installed one module of 2G RAM memory, removed the previous two modules of 512 M. I have an extra slot which I would like to use more RAM, I'm developing and also need multitasking on it. I'm wondering because read that my computer it's only capable to run with 2G RAM, What happens if I just add more memory?

There are a number of different motherboards and CPU's used in the dv9000 series. You need to know the exact model number to answer that question. In some cases the extra memory will go unused and in others the PC will NOT boot at all. Are you even sure that the laptop is using the full 2 gigs now? Some MBs only support 1 GB modules an will not use the extra memory.
