NO SOUND in GOOGLE CHROME

I have absolutely NO SOUND in Google Chrome whatsoever, and I honestly don't know why. It's only acting like this in Chrome. IE works fine, it's just chrome. It started yesterday, and I still don't know why. I have searched and searched the web try almost any and every solution possible and nothing works! I mean nothing at all! This is really started to irritate me, because I need sound! And IE is just too crappy, and runs wayyyy too slow for me! I just really need a solution can somebody help me please! I have a gateway laptop, and I am using Windows 7! SOMEBODY HELP!!!!
