My sims 3 pops up saying sorry your program had to shut down

every time i get into to sims it loads like normal i get into my world and about 1 minute later it stops working this thing pops up saying srry your program had to shut down this might take several minutes to figure out then it says i have to close down sims 3 so if you know why this is happening help me. ive tried deleting files, not being connected to internet, being in a different town, making a new guy, please help me!!!
