My PC won't connect to the internet after virus has been removed

I removed some malware from my PC using Revo Uninstaller, and when i restarted my computer it would not connect to the internet through any apps or programs I tried to use. It shows that I have internet access and I am joined to my router, yet whenever I open chrome or another web browser it says unable to connect to the internet. I connected my PC to a different wifi and it says that the connection is good, yet reads the same error message when i open up a browser. I have checked the LAN settings and there are no proxies being used. I disabled all other connections in my network settings except for my USB wifi adapter. When i try to diagnose the problem it tells me everything is fine. I have no clue in how to proceed further, any input would be appreciated.
