Microsoft security essentials quarantined items...

each time i try and remove the quarantined items or even try to change in the advanced settings, default actions,an error message appears as "class not registered" Although the adware etc.. is quarantined and not running i would prefer to remove. Can you help?

you have bad virus. sounds like mse is mess up uninstall it and go to Microsoft and download a again. run full scan. And ck Microsoft updates.

thank you for this idea. It hadn't occurred to me to uninstall and re-install. Pragmatic solutions abound! I'll let you know of the progress.
