I need help before I throw my laptop out the window... sometimes when I try to log into blackboard on my uni website it comes up with unloaded screen saying, 'can't connect to server'. I've turned my proxy off, even my firewall for a split second and it still didn't help. Sometimes if i restart my laptop it starts to work again but then at random times it just decides I can't use it, which is super frustrating for trying to study! Help?

I assume you using a wifi connection. There are a few FREE wifi signal apps for Android smart phones that can measure the signal strength. I suspect you might have a problem with the wifi signal.
