Screen is black reboot and select proper device

My screen is black and keeps sayin reboot and select proper device or insert boot media who can help

This sounds like a failed hard drive. You will probably need to replace the hard drive and re-install Windows.

Hello, my name is Paul...so I haven't connected my ps3 to internet before...bit today I did and an update popped up...which I updated...a 4. Version or so..

But after installing...it was just a black screen ... nothing else..Nd the green light remained on ...so what should I do ...and the power cord has been removed consecutively yet still no improvement
