Is the Power Supply working? It may have failed and still provide enough to light mouse and other peripherals. Is there anything going on on the screen? Do you hear any sounds from the motherboard, like the initial "beep"?
I would say that you may need a new PSU. If you confirm that the supply is working fine, check your motherboard.
