CRT Screen blinks or blanks

Hello,

On my desktop Dell PC, Windows 7 Ultimate screen flashes, blinks or just goes blank, how may this be corrected?

Do you have another Monitor to see if it acts the same way? That is the really the easiest way to troubleshoot if it is the monitor or the video card. Have you verfied the video signal being sent to the monitor by the card is a format that the monitor can handle?
