PLEASE HELP ME! A.S.A.P!
My desktop is a hp Pavillion 2.0. It is not new but, not real old. I recently have a problem where it will not allow me to get online. I have tried several different sites but, when I pull up Internet Access, Networks, Connections, next to my Internet it says "CONNECTED" with all bars full (strong).
I have tried turning off the Router, I have tried putting in the commands on Start, Run, that someone suggested above & no luck. A Norton thing popped up (like it does a lot & has done a lot on past) & when I clicked on renew it took me to the Norton website & I just typed norton.com in the bar & it took me there. So why can I go to Norton but no other websites?
?My daughter is a professional child actress & model & I NEED my desktop to send her resume & headshots & the casting director is waiting, I ddesperately need someone to help me. I do not have a lot of money but, I can promise to send you something every month until paid off if you fix it. Thank you so much for your time. I greatly appreciate anyone's help. ***@***

Try this 1.

1) Click on Start --> In search box, type cmd and click on OK. Now enter this

command

ipconfig/all and press Enter.

Make sure that IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway and DNS Servers

are having addresses.

2) Internet Explorer :

Right click on the "Internet Explorer" icon---->Click on "Properties"---> Click on

"Connections" tab-->Click on LAN settings button. In that window uncheck all the

options, if you notice any option selected.

Firefox :

In Firefox, Click on Tools-->Options--->Advanced --> Network--->Settings--->

select "No proxy" option and click on OK.

If the problem still exists, try disabling either your antivirus or firewall.

Good Luck.
