Laptop not starting

Asus laptop doesn't want to start up.. It seems to be in sleep mode
Doesn't want to shut down either... I can't restart .. It only shows
Black screen with the cursor arrow... Nothing else.. I tried unplugging the power
Source and restarting all again but nothing seems to happen
Help me...

Try this

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.

3. Replug and start.
