Hello All

ok
I have 20 colomns of data

the first 2 rows contain the upper and lower limits(all of which are different)

the following 3 rows contain the data

what im doing now is highlighting one colomn at a time and inputing the conditions

each time however the rule is the same.

EG cell A3-A6 must turn green if the numbers in them are between the numbers in cells A1 and A2

cell B3-B6 must turn green if the numbers in them are between the numbers in cells B1 and B2

cell C3-C6 must turn green if the numbers in them are between the numbers in cells C1 and C2

etc etc

is there a way of setting the condition for the first colomn and then copying it across for the others?

Im having to do each one indiviually and its becoming quite a pain!!

Thanks all

Hi Liem,

A dollar symbol in front of a row or column will fix the row/column. So remove the dollar symbols in the right places, then select the cells from column A with the CF and drag them to the right. When done a small square will appear, which will let you choose to apply format only.

Best regards,
