In this forum I've managed to find a solution to a similar problem like yours. Please, click on this link to see if this could help: https://ccm.net/forum/affich-706028-file-or-directory-is-corrupt-or-unreadable
If that does not resolve your issue, then you should try something else like the chkdsk /r command from Command prompt. You could try with software for testing the drive, produced by Transcend. Let's see if this could fix the errors.
Another option is to obtain a Linux Live CD and try to extract your data using it.

Hi again,
When you have checked the command chkdsk /f I assume that my idea of chkdsk /r didn't work also, right?
If you can, try to bring the drive to a data recovery company if you couldn't get a Linux CD.
Also, you could find on the web some software that recovers MBR.
