Laptop not working

Hello,

i have dell vostro 1510...last night switched off properly ...now when i switched on the power button is glowing...but no dispaly and fan is not running..i thought that porb with CMOS battery ...i chantged it...but still its not working ..what might be the issue

Try this

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.

3. Replug and start.

Toshiba Satellite mouse pad stopped working

Hello,

I was using my Toshiba Satellite and it froze up. I turned it off and then back on and my mouse pad stopped working. My cursur will move and highlight an icon but will not follow the command when clicked. I tried the function key and f9 and nothing.

Thank you for any help provided.
System Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0
