Hello,
i have an external segate 1gb hard drive...i cannot detect on my computer only shows Local disk h:....nothing else, when i start it opening my computer show not responding

Hi Biland,
Go to Disk Management and check if the drive is listed there. Does it have assigned letter and does it appear initialized? Is it a new drive or you have used it on this PC? I suggest you to enter Device Manager and search for the drive under USB devices. Uninstall the external, restart the PC and plug the device back in. The OS should reinstall the drivers. Check if there is any change.
