Bluetooth is not working properly

Hello,
i have dell inspiron 3521. as i earlier have windows 8 but now updated to windows 8.1. my BLUETOOTH software is not working properly. neither it is sending any file nor it is receiving any file. also bluetooth icon is not displayed in the taskbar. i tried to reinstall bluetooth driver but it is showing the error "please launch this application on another platform".... please help me as soon as possible.

That message indicates you have downloaded the WRONG Bluetooth driver. I suggest you go to the Dell web site and find the correct driver.
