I've looked for a while on what to do with this laptop but can't find a solution that works. Here is a list of what I have already tried

-Removing the battery and AC cord and holding power button for 10 minutes (Wanted to make sure I got it drained!)
-Putting just the battery in and trying the first solution
-Putting just the AC cord in and trying the first solution
-Removing the RAM carefully
-Putting only one RAM card in
-Changing the RAM slot that the card was in
-Tried the previous 2 solutions with 4 other cards (lots of spare laptop parts)
-Hooked laptop up to external monitor and pressed Fn+F5 to switch the display mode

When I try to start the laptop the only thing that happens is the power light comes on with a white light, the disk activity light flashes for a brief moment and the battery light comes on as orange. I do not believe that the battery is bad because if I leave the laptop on the charger for a while, I don't need to have it hooked up to the power supply for the lights to come on. The disk drive is operational, I can open and close it and it spins up.

So if you have a solution other than the ones above, it would be greatly appreciated! :D

Hi
Have you tried to connect it to an external monitor?

I'm not able to get the laptop to fully start up, is there a way I can reset the card without it fully on
