Something eating up space on my c drive
Closed
Hello,
I have a 60 gb C drive, which is full to the brim. But when I look at the properties of all the folders (including hidden one's), it amounts to only 21 gb. Even if i manage to free up some space, it gets filled up back again pretty soon. Any ideas what it could be?

Hello,
firstly i think the Windows folder can take up to 10-20GB for installation alone.
then, you will have hidden system files such as Page filing, hibernation which could take around 8GB each. Then there's your files..
You should start in C: and find the sizes of each folder.
then download CCleaner and run the cleanup tools to try and free up some space.
