Black Screen of Death

Hello, so today I decided to download an art program on my laptop... It's a dell xps 11 core i5 (I believe). Along with the program, a bunch of other files and programs got installed as well. I deleted all of these files and programs (I think) and then tried opening Google chrome. When I opened it, it said that my computer wasn't connected to the proxy server so I looked up how to fix this. Still without success I decided to restart my laptop. Now when I turn it on it is just black. I don't get to the login screen or anything, but the fan is running. I really really need help on how to fix this. Replacing the laptop is not an option...
