hi all hows everyone doing,
i have a problem that i feel needs assistance as i dont want to risk doing things myself just to make the situation worse,
i believe my hard drive is corrupt, and it has about 1tb data on it, including family photos, programs, games, ect.

i really need this data and your help.

the drive in question -seagate barracuda ST2000DM001
thankyou :o)
ill explain from the beginning,
i have a mtherboard with surge protect and recently it was being activated alot, telling me that i had an unstable power supply, but i kept trying to use it, untill it got to a point that the pc wouldnt boot, so i installed a new psu yesterday thinking my problems would be fixed,
it still wouldnt boot but at least i had constant power this time,
so i used a old 1tb hd to reinstall windows,
if i plug the suspect drive in alone it wont boot,
if i plug the suspect drive in with the good one it wont boot and holds at the windows logo
both hard drives have an os in them
the suspect drive spins up and sounds ok and shows in bios

Thankyou for your reply.
Will this work as both hard drives are internal?
And both have an os on them

No it may not work, I thought you meant external drives.

What makes you think that the drives are corrupted?
