A co-worker of mine, ask if he could copy some movies on my external drive which i brought to work, he transfered the movies in the laptop which we ussually use to troubleshoot first class aircraft seats.. when my external drive returned i was about to transfer to the companies network.. To share videos and movies to my co worker- by my surprize my files and folders, changed its format to .exe everything is in .exe. I disconnected the drive. The reconnect it again all files were lost.. What i tried:

Tried detecting the virus with : Sophos anti-virus
Changed my PC (home) : setting show hidden files (system files and encrypted)
Used cmd way : attrib -h -r -s /s /g [drive]:\*.*

Sophos results: 1 files encrypted, but no virus was detected, no hidden files found..

It was on the external drive files.. Foldername.exe, unfortunately i could not see them anymore, tried recovering them, but the attrib to all my files says RH,which i believed means read-only HiddEn. And ecrypted.

Hello,
# Download USB Fix on your computer, and launch it.
# It will start automatically, and a shortcut will be created on your desktop.
# Connect all your external data sources to your PC (Usb keys, external drives, etc...) Do not open them.
# Choose " Deletion " option.

#The computer will re-start, and it may be longer than usually.

# UsbFix will display a message at re-start.

# Click "OK" to start cleaning.
# Copy/paste the report here.
