how do I download a recovery software, and put it into my other computer? everytime I download it tries to fix this computer.

Um yah im new at fixing my tower never have needed too till now...i just used the one that came with vista and then a free recovery software and it found 4447 files but when it got done i cant find them anywhere and i even made a disk at a major loss here
