Did you follow the things given below?
pressing the ctrl key
pressing both ctrl keys together
holing the crtl key (s) for few seconds
Virus and spyware
Played with accessibility options
rebooted many times by itself and after making any changes
reinstalled drivers
tryed a different keyboard and mouse
