Hi

Follow the instructions in this Kioskea how-to link:

https://ccm.net/faq/4811-restore-toshiba-laptop-to-factory-settings

Good luck
I have tried this method and a few others I found online, I don't think this has a hidden partition. I have downloaded a bootable vista os burnt it to DVD but that doesn't help either.

Hi
All Toshiba's manufactured from 2007 and onward have a recovery partition.

Trying a reset to factory settings other than the method prescribe may corrupt the recovery partition.

Perhaps that you should contact Toshiba to order, purchase their recovery disks.
