Hello:
I need help
the name of personal folder on my 4 GB USB memory drive was somehow changed to Ѻ"ª%?." by what I assume was some kind of malicious program and has now rendered this folder inaccesable.
Properties show that the memory is nearly full (as should be) but by running diagnostics, it shows that there is no content.
Also, another file with the same name, appeared out of nowhere, weighing 11,232 KB

I need help reversing this in order to recover the information in that folder.
Any help is much appreciated

Hello,
# Download USB Fix on your computer, and launch it.
# It will start automatically, and a shortcut will be created on your desktop.
# Connect all your external data sources to your PC (Usb keys, external drives, etc...) Do not open them.
# Choose " Deletion " option.

#The computer will re-start, and it may be longer than usually.

# UsbFix will display a message at re-start.

# Click "OK" to start cleaning.
# Copy/paste the report here.

Thank you for this information.
Just to be sure, will this recover the information in that folder, or only delete that folder?
I really need to recover the information, so be before I go ahead and do this, I just want confirmation that I won't lose anything.
Thank you for your help
