i got internet access from all browsers previously. but recently after running eset smart security antivirus it found some threats and i cleaned them. and i laptop restarted. after this i was unable to browse net from the browsers. my wifi is working well and internet is connected. i dont know what happened. it happened twice. i restored the laptop to previous version and then i can browse internet and download files. but again i scanned the laptop with eset smart security antivirus and cleaned some viruses. this second time again after restart iam unable browse the internet.
one more problem is that when i go to safe mode, after 1 minute it restarting itself in normal windows mode. safemode is not loading and as soon as it going to safemode it is restarting itself in the normal mode.

waiting for your answer please suggest me a remedy.

Open Network Diagnostics by right-clicking the network icon in the notification area, and then clicking Diagnose and repair.

time and date are correct. every thing is fine about what you have told. i checked them. but it didnot work. you have told only in mozilla browser. but the problem is with all the browsers. not even updates get downloaded. that means my system doesnot get data for browsing.

Hello,
The problem could be from the protocol filtering feature. Kindly read and follow instructions carefully.

1. Open the main program window by double-clicking the ESET icon next to the system clock or by clicking Start > All Programs > ESET > ESET Smart Security or ESET NOD32 Antivirus.

2. Press the F5 key on your keyboard to display the Advanced setup window.

3. In the Advanced Setup tree to the left, expand Web and email, click Protocol filtering and select Applications marked as web browsers and email clients.

4. In the Advanced Setup tree, click expand Protocol filtering > Web and email clients and click Excluded applications. Make sure that only the applications you want scanned are selected. Typically, only web browsers and email clients (iexplorer.exe, firefox.exe, outlook.exe, etc.) need to be selected. As to your case, select chrome.exe, Steam and Windows Live executables.

5. Click OK to save your changes
