Hello people..........
so one day i started my computer and there was a red cross next to the volume mixer icon in system tray..
it said that the speakers were not plugged in.i removed the wire and plugged it again. now the red speaker icon changed to RealTek Digital Output but there is no sound coming out of the speakers.i opened the device manager and uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers but nothing happened. the speakers in the hardware and sound say that speakers are not plugged in, but they are i have rechecked it. also none of my microphones and headphones work ,the computer just doesn't read them.drivers are:
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0269&SUBSYS_10EC0269&REV_1001
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0269&SUBSYS_10EC0269
and the notebook is a Sony Vaio pcg-61212w
with Windows 7 (64 bit).....
Please HELP ME !!
it is very Annoying !!

Well,

Do you have a set of speakers you can plug into the back (green) speaker jack?

Or maybe a set of headphones into the front (green) headphone jack?

If it didn't detect any devices you wouldn't see those options.

Right now you're set to output audio to "Digital Out", it's set as the default output device, plug speakers in, select "Speakers" then click on "Set Default".

Have a nice day
