My mouse is not working properly

i got a toshiba satellite laptop 3 months ago and now my mouse is not working properly. it only scroll the page but the pointer is not moving, it move only if i click down on the left click thats the only time the pointer moves. it will work when i just turn on the computer but after 3 or 4 minutes it stop working.can someone help me please

Hello,

Try this 1

Unplug the power cord --> Remove the battery --> Hold the power

button for 60 seconds --> Connect the power supply then try to switch

ON the laptop and later put the battery back into the laptop.
