Laptop keyboard and touchpad stopped working

hi,
i have a hp 15-r210ne laptop.the keyboard and touchpad suddenly stopped working before that my total laptop was not getting switched on so i removed the battery and it worked. but now the keyboard and touchpad is not responding. i tried updating the bios and reinstall the driver it didn't work. is their anything that you can do to help me out. please respond asap.

You probably killed the laptop with a failed BIOS update. It's only useful to salvage parts.

Might help:


Go to control panel>ease of access>change how your keyboard works

Uncheck any of the following that are currently checked:
Mouse keys
Sticky keys
Filter keys

For me, the "turn on filter keys" was checked. Once I unchecked it I was able to type.
