My windows 8 won't open

Each time i press the power button all the keyboards and power button light and the screen stay black. .... I'm not sure but i guess that happened just after i updated the bios from the automatically updates
Please help i have important work on it

Hi,
It is better to do a system restore to the point!!!!!!
First get into safe mode by tapping F8 key...
and then do a system restore....
Start-->All programs--> Accessories-->system tools-->system restore

Try this

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.

3. Replug and start.

I tried this but didn't work i tried to connect it to a monitor or clean the ram slots but it failed
