did you try this:
Start, Programs\Accessories and right click on Command Prompt, select "Run as Administrator" to open a command prompt.
Reset WINSOCK entries to installation defaults: netsh winsock reset catalog
Reset IPv4 TCP/IP stack to installation defaults. netsh int ip reset reset.log
Reset IPv6 TCP/IP stack to installation defaults. netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log
Reboot the machine.
Did you contact Verizon to check the connection?
Did you power cycle the Modem and/or Router? Pull the power plugs on the router and then the modem. Leave them disconnected for 1 minute. Remove the signal cable between the modem and router. Then reconnect the modem and let it fully boot and become stable. Then connect router to the modem. Then connect the power to the router.
