Hello,
When the laptop is switched on the topmost left icon of my desktop (in this case it is Recyclbin) got highlited (selected automatically) and sometime no '6' key is stacked up. It is a Compaq model. Please let know what to do. Thanks.

Hello manu,
Let move the Recycle bin icon somewhere else in desktop and start your pc...
See again it got highlighted on startup if yes then your R key may be assumed as press by your pc..
Also you 6 key..
You might need trained technician to repair your laptop keyboard..
Otherwise use external keyboard..
