Hello,
My computer stopped recognizing my passport driver or passport external hard drive. It worked but now it will not. The light on the passport is on when plugged in and can hear sound like it is working. what do i do?

Hello sharla,
Can you see the WD My Passport under Disk management or the Device manager? It probably "lost" its drive letter and need to be reassigned.
Have you tried plugging it to another PC or with different cable? It could be the USB port conflict, so you need to check the Device manager for that too.
I would recommend that you download our testing tool WD Data LifeGuard Diagnostics and check your drive with it. Please, navigate till this site: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=ySiFFP
Hope this helps.
