Headphones won't work?

Hello,

So, I have a Dell laptop and every time I connect my headphones or any headphones i borrow, I get a message pop up saying that it's plugged and another pop up shows that it's unplugged again. I've been trying to make it work but it just can't. Please help!

Hello Tiger,
After plugging in see whether it is seen in device manager..
Try to plug in and keep your hand without shaking and see again it happen..
If so then the port may be loose
