Windows won't load

Hello,
I was on windows task manager to see why it was taking so long to get out of windows and saw that internet explorer was working. Like an idiot I ended the internet explorer process and windows will not load. I getr Emachines page. escape gives me the specifications of the computer and an option to press delete button to get back into windows ...but no response. Loading the emachines reboot disc does not work since ROM just spins for 1 sec and stops. Besides throwing the computer in the trash what else can I do to restore normal function? Thanks
