hello when i turn on my computer the fans go on and later it goes off with a beeping sound after 10 seconds. later on it gets back after another 10 seconds it just continues doing that with out any display. what could be the cause of this?

1) Laptop or Desktop
2) self build?
3) How many beeps?
4) From when it causes?
5) Did you install any hardware or software?

1its a desktop dell optiplex 320
2self build
3one beep then goes off and then on and then one beep then off just like that.
5it has operating system
