Usb shortcut

Hello. Can anyone please help me solve this problem. Everytime I insert a usb flashdrive to my computer, it gets a shortcut of the usb for example the name of the usb is Roland(F:) when you open it a shortcut of that same usb name will appear and after opening this shortcut the files were still there.
Is there any solution to remove the shortcut of the usb and prevent other usb to get the shortcut virus everytime it will be insterted to my computer?
Btw, my computer is still in xp
