solution 1:
Go to My computer-->right click on the USB drive-->properties-->under tools tabl-->check now.
Solution 2:
start-->command-->Type E: and press enter(E: is your USB drive name it may vary according to your pc) -->chkdsk \f \r and press enter.
solution 3:
Use HP disk storage format tool to format the USB and use it.

Hi Kakanyazi,
Try opening the Command Prompt and using the Diskpart command. It should look like this:
diskpart
list volume
select volume n (n should be the number of your drive)
attributes disk clear readonly
Press Enter after every command. Take a look at the article below. It may be helpful.
