Windows stuck and after recovery all files went missing

i have a lenovo laptop and yesterday it stuck and i just hit the off button. i try to turn back on several times but it did not work and only show blank page. then there is recovery key on lenovo and i hit that button. after doing that my laptop is on but all my files and programs such as Microsoft software i.e words, power point etc went missing. unfortunately i did not have any backup. how do i recover back my files and programs? but most importantly my files.
