I need to design a SATA3 ARRAY for a hot rod pc.

the general idea is one (1) 128GB SATA 3 SSD for the OS and fast applications
AND one (1) 2TB SATA 3 Hard drive for data
with room for more HDDs

I want to use a "smart" SATA3 Controller Card for this array. (PCI)

Any ideas? Please, any info is welcome!
Thanks

You will need a PCI-e v2.0 port on the motherboard to support SATA3 speeds.

Many older motherboards will not give you 6.0 mbs speeds.
