Yahoo mail verification problem

Hello,
i have not used my yahoo email for a long time. Now when i correctly type in my email ID and password there is message saying that they've detected some unusual activity and hence to verify that its really me trying to sign in to my account. They are sending a verification code to an email address which is unknown to me. Also that is the only verification option they are giving me. Please help me to access my email.
