Sony Vaio factory setting restore

Hi,

I purchased Sony Vaio (windows vista) laptop VGN-NR11Z/T in 2007. 2 years back, I upgraded it to Windows 7 Professional using genuine product key. Now I cant boot the system or login into computer in safe mode. I dont have win 7 installation disk. Can I restore my laptop back to original factory settings (which is windows vista).

It depends on how Win 7 was installed. If the Win 7 install wiped the disk clean before the install then you don't have any restore partition and can't restore. It doesn't hurt to try. But, I suspect you have a.hardware problem that a restore can't help.
