Hello,
My toshiba R945 laptop screen turns to black color while i was using it.it cant display. every thing is working properly except the screen.the Windows start up sound works well.even i can see the icons in my desktop with the help of external light just like using mobile light.some people told me LCD problem.But i don't know what does it mean.any one who can help me pleas?is there any thing that can i do in my self?

There is nothing you can do yourself to repair the laptop. It appears that the "back light" is not working.
I suggest you have a local repair shop diagnose the problem to see if it's economical to repair.
