Headphone not working on windows 7 ultimate with asusx5c pc

                    With you headphones connected, go into Sound properties (click Start and write "Sound", you'll see it)
A window will come up with all connected sound devices. Do you see headphones there?
If not, it is a hardware problem - try a different device (other headphones or speakers)
If yes, click on the headphones and check its Properties. Device usage should say "Use this device (enable)"
Check Levels (it shouldn't be on 0)
In enhancements, save, then change them back, and save again.
In Advanced there should be selected options ext to "Allow applications to take eclusive control of this device" and "Give exclusive mode applications priority"
