Keyboard, mouse , touchpad are not working properly.

I am using Sony Vaio laptop. OS is windows 7. recently I am facing an issue with mouse and keyboard. mouse selects submenus by itself. to check that i have to press the "tab" button. when I watch videos on youtube or VLC player or KM player it automatically runs the video superfast like fast forwarding. while typing some keys are not working. after pressing the key at least 5/6 times it types the letter. I tried all suggested ways, but any of them did not work. I separated the mouse and tried to use the touchpad but the problem remained same. each time the "tab" button is seemed to be the solution. what should I do now to fix this problem?
