Western Digital hard disk not being detected in my laptop

Hello,

i have tried so many thing to detect my WD external hard disk in my laptop and also check in other laptop also...but my hard disk is not being detected by any of the laptops...i had also tried in windows7,8,10 and also in linux but same problem exist that hard disk is not being detected please help.

I don't think anyone can help you. It appears the drive is DEAD.

Hi Upasana,

I am sorry for any issues or inconveniences, caused by the hard drive. I presume it is not visible in BIOS. Can you hear some strange noises coming from the drive? Sadly, xpcman may be right. Your drive may have failed. If you have valuable information on the drive, I would advise you to contact a Data Recovery Company. If the drive is under warranty, contact the reseller.
